Eskatos Capital Management [ECM] is the Managing General Partner of Eskatos Sicav SIF, a Lux-domiciled umbrella fund [the Company]. The Company invests exclusively in Insurance Linked Securities, i.e. in those assets that allow risk carriers to offload insurance-related risks from their balance sheets.  The Insurance Linked Securities [ILS] is a new asset class that shows a very attractive risk/return profile if compared to other traditional and alternative investments.

Mission

Eskatos Capital Management aims at being the entry European-domiciled point for all non-US investors that wish to get an exposure to the ILS space and to become the European market leader in this new and attractive asset class. ILS shows extremely low correlation with financial market and has proved to be a safe harbour in the recent volatile environment. Eskatos Sicav SIF is the first umbrella fund created by ECM investing exclusively in Property&Casualty (P&C) and Life ILS, both in bond and derivative format. In this space, the mission of ECM is the creation of a family of truly de-correlated products offered to institutional investors seeking diversification and yield enhancement.

History

Eskatos Capital Management was incorporated under the form of private limited liability company (société à responsabilité limitée) on 14 March 2008 and registered at the “Registre de Commerce et des Sociétés” of Luxembourg under the number B 137.737. The registered office is established at 20, boulevard Emmanuel Servais, L-2535 Luxembourg.
